Chicken Stuffing Casserole

i am so blessed to have 3 women in my life who are unbelievable cooks & i have learned so much from them. My momma, my nanny & my mother-in-law have the best recipes ever & i always love getting to eat some of their home cookin!!

this little gem of a recipe comes from my mother-in-law. we ate this at her house the other night & it was Deevine!! now of course, she is a much better cook than me, so i made this recipe a little easier on myself, i'll tell you how in a minute.

its such a comfort food & it just goes well with cold weather!! plus, i promise it is so easy & really quick to make. you just can't go wrong with this, again, i promise!

Ingredients:

1 rotisserie chicken
1 cup chicken broth
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 box chicken flavored stuffing

Preheat oven to 350.

pull chicken from the bone & place in large bowl. add the soups, chicken broth & stuffing mix. i also added a little black pepper.

place the mixture in a greased baking dish. bake at 350 for 30 minutes.

how yummy does this look? its mmm mmm good!!!

here's what i changed up (in case you were wondering) my MIL didn't use a rotisserie chicken. she cooked a whole chicken & created her own broth. so if you're feeling really domestic, go for it. i just wasn't feeling like betty crocker, so i improvised. it taste just as yummy using a rotisserie chicken & adding the chicken broth.

i served this with Sweet Potato Casserole (another easy yummy recipe. try it!) green beans & biscuits!! it was such a good meal. the hubby loved it, so we'll be having it again soon!
