Knoxville Bound......

we are headed to Orange Country for the weekend! we leave out tomorrow morning & we are just so excited! We are going with all of ben's family & his sister, Jenna, is meeting us there from NC. she hasn't seen jack since 4th of July, so she is probably the most excited about our trip. We're staying in a cabin in the mountains, shopping, eating out, playing late night board games & going to the UT vs Georgia game.

in the past 8 years (the amount of time that ben & i have been together) i have come to love UT football. i know we aren't the greatest team & we have the worst quarterback in the SEC right now (hurry up & graduate Crompton!!!) but we're still true blue fans. there is just something so fun about cheering on your team in a packed stadium of 108,000 screaming Vol fans! its literally a sea of orange & white filling Neyland Stadium, but its the best. We get to the game like 3 hours early b/c my father-in-law is hardcore! we go to the bookstore, eat lunch & attend the Vol Walk. i'm not sure Jack will be going to the game with us. We're thinking it might just be too long of a day for him, so ben's mom so sweetly offered to watch him at the cabin. we're sad he won't be there but he'll be cheering on the Vols from the comfort of a warm cabin. next year, Jack will be at the game while little Jovie stays back at the cabin with mamie. we're already excited for him attend his first UT game!

i'm so looking forward to this trip. more than anything, i'm thrilled to have a long weekend with family, relaxing in the mountains. we're gonna have a ball! i'll be sure to take lots of pictures so i can post all about our trip when we get back!

now, i need to go pack & finish cleaning this dirty little house! GO VOLS!

We are tailgating at Kendall's house on Sat morning...I know everyone would love for y'all to stop by. She lives really close to campus so you can walk to her house from the stadium.
